1. Job Title: Corporate Application Engineer, Intern
Location: Shanghai
Description:
Verification is the number one bottleneck in SOC designs today. Synopsys is un
iquely positioned to offer the most complete verification solution in market t
oday. VCS is the Platform for Synopsys verification flow. It incorporates a su
ite of built-in high performance next generation technologies for test bench a
utomation, assertion based verification, coverage closure, etc., which are nee
ded for verifying challenging multi-million gate designs. As a CAE Intern for
Verification, based in Shanghai, candidate will be responsible for successful
deployment of Synopsys verification flow to a growing customer base in AsiaPac
ific. The CAE Intern responsibilities include deployment of industry leading a
utomation and verification technologies, creation of technical collateral, def
ining new methodology, and product support, testing and writing specifications
for enhancement. Candidate will be responsible to help analyze and resolve co
mplex verification issues for customers’ cutting edge ASIC designs. The posit
ion offers a great opportunity to grow by learning state-of-art verification f
lows from Synopsys.
Requirements:
MS or PhD majored in EE with IC design/verification project experiences. Good
knowledge of high-level design methodologies and strong communication skills a
re required. Proficient with Unix, HDL (Verilog/VHDL), HVL(e/vera/systemverilo
g) and a strong understanding of ASIC design flows, VLSI, and/or CAD-engineeri
ng.
2. Job Title: R&D Engineer （9613）
Location: Shanghai
Description:
Responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting or debugging software p
rograms. Develops software tools including operating systems, compilers, route
rs, networks, utilities, databases and internet-related tools, etc. Determines
hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. Works on problems o
f diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable fac
tors. Expected to analyze project areas, refine problem descriptions, and deve
lop novel technical solutions. Write papers for technical conferences. Exercis
es judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting metho
ds and techniques for obtaining solutions. Produce consistently high quality t
echnical solutions and code implementations independently.
Requirements:
BS in CS/EE with 5+ years of relevant experience or MS with 3+ years of experi
ence in programming software for operating systems, utilizing machine assembly
and/or job control languages, and working knowledge of software capabilities.
The individual should have experience on development of complex software proj
ects, familiarity with C/C++ coding, and a strong background in data structure
s and algorithms. It is essential that the individual has strong desires to le
arn and explore new technologies and are able to demonstrate good analysis and
problem solving skills. Prior knowledge and experience of CAD tool developmen
t are required.
3. Job Title: R&D Engineer（9572）
Location: Shanghai
Description:
Responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting or debugging large scal
e software programs. Develops software tools including compilers, database, ti
lities and etc. Expected to identify classical solutions to problems with litt
le guidance, and implement these independently. Works on problems of moderate
scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable f
actors. Proficient in one specific technical area. Works primarily with manage
r and other engineers across teams.
Requirements:
MS in CS/EE with 3+ years or PhD. in CS/EE with 1+ years of relevant experienc
e in complex software. Able to design algorithms and data structures for optim
al run-time and memory usage performance. The individual should have experienc
e on development of complex software projects, familiarity with C/C++ coding,
and a strong background in data structures and algorithms are required for thi
s position. It is essential that the individual has strong desires to learn an
d explore new technologies and are able to demonstrate good analysis and probl
em solving skills. Prior knowledge and experience of circuit design tool devel
opment is a plus (transistor level circuit simulation knowledge and experience
preferred).
